Diabetic Footwear
Persons with Diabetes are more susceptible to foot related issues. As a result, Medicare has implemented the Medicate Therapeutic Shoe Bill which entitles beneficiaries with specific conditions to receive one pair of diabetic shoes and up to three pair of inserts per year at little or no cost to them. The goal of this program is to reduce the occurrence of ulcers and other complications that are caused by poorly fitting shoes.
A large majority of the footwear that we carry in our store qualifies for the Therapeutic Shoe Bill.
